Experience

  • 28 years in education (elementary school teacher,  middle school teacher, adult education instructor, assistant principal-elementary & middle)
  • 12years as principal of Phillips Preparatory Middle School (Voted #1 middle school in the state of Alabama in 2004 by Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools)
  • Selected "2001, 2004, 2008 Principal of the Year" by the Mobile County PTA
  • Serves as a mentor for middle school principals
  • Conducts presentations for: new teachers, aspiring administrators and principals, national organizations
