Red Ribbon Week will be next week, October 27th - 31st. Please see the attached flyer for deatils about each day.



Replacement backpacks must be all clear with an image/logo no larger than 2x3 inches. The allowed trim color is black, navy, hunter green, yellow, red, or white.


Students may wear a shirt honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their uniform bottoms.

Attention prospective families: Come out and see what Phillips Preparatory School has to offer! The last open house opportunity for this magnet application window will be Tuesday, October 21st. 


We are so excited to announce our football team is headed to the championship game!! Come out and support our boys this Thursday, October 16th @ 4PM. The game will be held at Mary G. Montgomery High School. 


Pirates Fest is coming soon! Mark your calendar for October 24th during PE time. Cost is $20 and includes games, inflatables, and 5 concession tickets. Students who purchase a ticket may wear jeans, a spirit shirt, and tennis shoes.

National Coaches Day is a holiday celebrated annually on October 6th to honor coaches for their positive impact on their athletes and communities. The day was first established in 1972 by President Richard Nixon, who proclaimed October 6th as National Coaches Day to acknowledge coaches as highly qualified teachers, counselors, and friends.  We are thankful to have four of the best as our physical education coaches! We appreciate everything you do for our school!


Get ready to cheer on your championship volleyball team as they face some of our PPS teachers! The game will be held on Friday, October 17th. The cost is $5 to attend. Students attending may wear a spirit shirt, school appropriate jeans, and tennis shoes.


Yearbook pictures are this Wednesday, October 8th. Students must be dressed in full business attire, including navy blazers.


We are the champions!! Congratulations to our fabulous Lady Pirates on winning the MCPSS Middle School Large Division Championship against Causey. We are so proud of your winning season!


The Lady Pirates are championship bound!! Come out and support our volleyball team tonight as they take on the Causey Tigers. The match will be held at Blount High School @ 5:30 PM.

Prospective families: Do you want to come see what all Phillips has to offer? A "Peek into the Pirates' Cove" is a great opportunity for students and parents! This event will allow parents to attend an informational meeting/Q&A session while students take part in interactive sessions and a guided tour. Scan the QR code to register for this experience taking place on October 7th. You don't want to miss it!
